Green River Pics

A few weeks ago we went on our first camping trip of the year, to Green River. It was fun to have the whole family together. Here are some pics of the several days we were there. We had Awesome weather and a great time.

Lacy at the guyser. My stupid computer or blogger won't realign my sideways pics, does anyone know why? My last computer didn't do this, and Im very frustrated. They are right until I add them to blogger, then it chages it again. Oh well, I had to add this cute picture

This picture is located where the Life Flight incident happened last fall. Luckily we didn't have to go through that again.

My official 1 motorcycle ride per year- and I didn't crash and actually put it in 3rd gear this year. :)

MY FAMILY

This is a post that took a while.....

This is my whole immediate family- in one place at the same time!

While our family is close, we don't all live close. We recently went for our first camping trip of the year (to Green River of course), and it was so awesome to have EVERYONE there. I can't remember when the last time that happened- we are always missing like one or two people. I can't even tell you how awesome it was. Hopefully it will happen again.... very soon.

Oh, and this is as formal as it gets in the Fox Family

Funny how the older you get the more you LOVE being around your family and that they mean the world to you. Thanks to all my family (close or far, immediate or distant relative) for everything you all do for us!

Oh, and notice how well trained Bryan (the dog- don't be confused by my brother... or brother-in-law) is. If you look closely, you can see he is even smiling ( a little). What a good boy :)

More Pictures

I have some very fun photo things coming up soon, so I have been practicing with my editing of older pics I have. You may have seen some of these, but they all have changed some. I know I put a lot of pics on here, but hey it's my blog and I'll do what I want.

My Photos

Sorry for the blog overload today... but I have been busy.

My latest Photography class just ended and I learned so much. A lot of our assignments were things I have never done before, but I loved them. The great thing about photography is that there is always something to learn. I have also been studying up on my Photoshop skills, and I have been learning lots. If any of you have tried Photoshop, it can be overwhelming- but day by day I am learning how to use it more effectively.

This picture is one assignment that I took while in St. George a few weeks ago. It has the temple and of course baseball fields (lots of tournaments the weekend we were there). I haven't taken many night landscape pics before, but now I love them and can't wait to do it more.

This was taken within walking distance from our home in Genola. I love it here.

Brett (and Bryan) are such good sports -and I think he is a very handsome model :)

St. George 10K

Last year me, Becky, and Lorrie ran the Spectrom 10K race in St. George and had fun. Bryan and Daniele bought a house down there last year also and it was Whitney's idea to run it again. So we got a group of girls all signed up and ready to go- and then Whitney bailed on us!

To be fair, Whitney is going to BYU and has been super busy finishing up her teaching degree. Oh, and she may be a little behind in her school work because of her new FIANCE!!!!! That's right, my niece is engaged and is getting married. Am I really getting that old? I couldn't be happier for her and Chris, I think they are very cute together and make a great couple. I'm also a little stoked because once again we will have the same last name- she is marrying Chris Christensen (who happens to have the same name as Brett's grandpa. funny huh?)

Anyway, there were 7 of us total, and we crashed at Bryan and Daniele's. Funny story- Tracy stopped and bought new running shoes before going to St. George. Once she got down there the store called her to tell her they accidentally had two different size shoes in her box- one 7 and one 8. Since she wears an 8 the shoes wouldn't work for the race- luckily she had her old running shoes with her. So we are sitting around Friday around 10 at night and we start talking about running shoes. Becky goes to pull her shoes out of her bag and realizes she forgot her running shoes at home. Oops. Becky wears a 6.5 and Tracy offers her the mismatched shoes to wear. So she wears them and finishes the race with a new personal fastest time- 55 min!!

At the start of the race at Snow Canyon. Daniele didn't run but cheered us on at the bottom

Lorrie decided she wanted to carry my camera and take pics along the route. It was funny looking at all her pics

As you can tell, we aren't the fastest runners there. Holy cow do people take their running seriously!

This picture cracks me up. Her face is a little redder towards the end. lol

Is she interested in buying this home?

Lorrie also had a new personal best time. That's great- my time was about the same as last years. :(

My cousin Niesha and her daugther Kiegan ran it with us also. I was super jealous because after the race they headed to San Felipe for a week of relaxation.

At the end

I was bummed because I didn't get many other pictures, or even a picture with everyone in it.

Hello Spring!

We have been staying busy enjoying ourselves.... and Spring- well we hope Spring is finally here.

He's Back! This horse has spent the last year in Oklahoma, he is now back and ready to go. We will see how it goes tomorrow at our first barrel race.

Must be Spring- Brett's getting the truck all ready to go..... Nevermind, since it looks so good it will now just sit in the garage. lol Guys are so funny.

Bryan loves being outside, and this is the year for landscaping!

In March our office went to the UDA conference, which is always a few days of fun, lectures, dental products, etc. Brett's sister Jennifer is just finishing up school to be a dental hygienist also, and presented her table clinic at UDA. She did great and she is studying away for her board exams. Yuck, I remember those days and would never want to go through that again!

Good Luck Jen!

Getting together with some friends

Our office at UDA. I pretty much work at the best place on Earth- I love everyone I work with and couldn't imagine working anywhere else. Crosspointe Dental Rocks!

And at the end of the day Brett and Bryan get a little tired. :)
