Memorial Weekend

We had a very busy Memorial Day weekend- starting out camping by Fish Lake with our friends Brett and Jenny for a few days, then heading over to Sterling to spend some time with Brett's family at his grandparents place.
This is us right after we arrived---- and it poured nearly the ENTIRE time at Fish Lake. We didn't watch the weather ahead of time and were a little unprepared- Brett didn't bring any pants, only shorts.... oops.
It's usually not a good sign when you wake up the first morning you're there and you see this person (made us a little nervous)- But she was just checking to see if we had seen any BEARS- yeah that's right!

Luckily we found no bears, only bear prints on the bathroom door

On our way fishing..... in the rain of course

Brett's first fish of the season

Fishing on this river. It is sooo pretty up there

Brett fishing some more. It seems like we fished a lot, which I usually don't mind but we were all soaked and a little cold

Our camp- notice how close the trailers are, it's to use the awnings to shield from the rain

After we left fish lake we went to Sterling where we were lucky enough to get way better weather. We actually unloaded the four-wheelers (we didn't at Fish Lake) and went riding some.

We went for a four-wheeler ride and it was fun. In the background you can see the town of Sterling
Monday morning we all went golfing at Palisade State Park. The weather was awesome and we had so much fun. We haven't been golfing yet this year and can't wait to start going more.

Tulip Festival

A few weeks ago me and Crystal went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point and it was so pretty. I definitely can't wait for summer!
Shalice and Dusty got married in this building and had the very first wedding there.

Our new addition

No, no not THAT kind of new addition.
We got a goat- and his name is Oreo. Our friends Brett and Jenny had him and we somehow inherited him for our weed problem at our house. As they tell us all we need to do is water him, that better be the case. He/she (we're not sure) will be available for sale or trade in about a month after he's taken care of our weeds.
