So far we are loving every minute of summer, staying busy with all sorts of stuff.

Happy Anniversary... To US!

Ok, so it is our 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! As some may know, I look forward to this like Christmas, as many should. While it is only our fourth, we are still proud. Our marriage is not perfect, but is perfect for us.... (at least I think, and hope lol) I truly believe our marriage is like a fine wine... only getting better with time. :)

I was thinking of many things to do with our anniversary, and I have been thinking for months. Moab, Park City, Sun Valley, Jackson.... and guess what won??? You guessed it.... YARDWORK!!! Oh well, I can honestly say I am truly grateful for that. We seem to spend so much time away during the week working, that we sometimes call our home our "Weekend house". We like to go to the grocery store and stock up and just lay low on the weekends. What a life. We love it here, although we have given up a lot to be here, but we wouldn't change a thing. :)

I never put this much text, but as I've said before, it's my blog.... But anyway I FINALLY GOT MY NEW LENS. for my camera that is. I put this baby on order a few months ago... and then the waiting began (I've heard because of the earthquake in Japan things were delayed with Nikon). I was starting to get frustrated... but it finally showed up! And of course the playing started. Apprently this IS THE ONE for great portrait shots. There are no great shots for our anniversary (at least not yet and the evening is fastly approaching), so all these shots are from my new lens of somewhat random things. I need some practice as it is new to me... so if anyone wants me to take pics, just let me know. :)

Recent Stuff

We've been staying busy with lots of stuff.

Brett's sister Jennifer graduated from Hygiene school in May and we are super excited for her. She has started working and so far enjoying it.

The whole family. Kelly (on the end) is actually Jen's boyfriend- not Stacie's, as it may look in this picture.

Of course in May there was Mother's Day, and I happen to think I have the best mom ever.

We went camping over Memorial Day weekend with some friends and had a great time, besides the bad WIND! It was fun catching up with some friends we don't get to see much.

The wind was awful, but we still can't wait to go again- WE LOVE LONG WEEKENDS!

We had to put tables up in order to cook our food- stupid wind.

The kids had fun catching toads and lizards all weekend.

Little Lainey LOVED all the dogs. We haven't been able to see Lainey since she was a baby, and she is sooo cute.
