Within walking distance from our hotel was a Mexican Zoo. I had heard on the internet that it was a must-see if we were there, so we ventured over. We had a great time- and if you ever get the chance to visit a mexican zoo, you should.

Things are very different at this zoo vs. Hogle Zoo in Utah. You can buy food to feed the animals, and can pretty much feed anything (if you dare). You can also pay a little extra and hold/play with baby tigers and jaguars, and play with Monkeys. It seems cheesy, but the zoo was one of my favorite things we did down there.

Bryan and Lorrie got to hold and play with Monkeys. The rest of us opted for the tigers

Feeding the animals

We had the giraffe eating off our heads- I know, we are a little silly.

3 month old baby bengal tiger that we got to play with. He was a little feisty and we had to watch ourselves.

This little tiger was mellow and fun to play with

Playing with the feisty tiger- they are very strong, even at 3 months.
