We just got back from Green River Camping!
We go every Spring Break and UEA camping at the White Wash Sand Dunes by Green River and Moab and it is the BEST place to go. It's by far the best kept secret in Utah if you like to ATV.
Before we get to that I will show you the third backsplash I have done (not sure if I posted the second). This is in our 1/2 bath. I had a slight addiction to the "Do it yourself" network (DirecTv 230), and it was taking quite a hit to our budget. I stopped cold turkey and just pass it by on the remote when looking for something to watch. But..... I hope to do another project next month- so stay tuned :)
Ok- on to camping. I went camping with my family to Green River last weekend. Brett went scouting deer for this weekends deer hunt, so me and little Brian went alone and met my family there. Super fun time.
My cousin Jake and his wife Josie came for the first time and brought their little girl Cadence and she had all the attention and she is so dang cute. It's always fun having a little baby around.... and to get some "nudges" from my family that it's time for more little babies :)
Tyson FINALLY held Cadence, and between you and me I think he secretly liked it :)

Daniele and Cadence
Bryan taking in the scenery..... and probably looking for leftovers thrown over the edge. I think we eat better camping than we do at home.

When trying to find helmets for all the kids, Brady came across his "Evil Knievel" helmet, and wore it the rest of the day. Helloooooo 1980

Maycee caught a cute little Lizard
Brent got the Rzr stuck in the sand
Ok here's the story..... While on a ride on Saturday with about 10-12 of us in a pretty remote and challenging area we came across a nice man who was hurt and needed life flight. He had an accident on his motorcycle and thought he had broken his pelvis- he was in extreme pain. Of course we had to stop and help and waited a while for him to get help. It was probably and hour or so and life flight finally came.
Here's the interesting part. If you have never been around a helicopter landing, you have no idea what force and wind it creates- I swear it was like a tornado, with lots of sand and rock.
All of the sudden we realized they were landing the helicopter RIGHT next us and we all ran for cover. While doing so, Rebecca (in our group) was knocked off the ledge we were standing on, twisted her ankle, got several deep cuts on her face/nose, and had a motocycle land on her.
After she went to the hospital it was revealed she broke her ankle and her nose, and had huge cuts all across her face (which luckily didn't need stitches). By Sunday she had two huge black swollen shut eyes! Rebecca happens to be one of the nicest people ever, so we wish her a speedy recovery.... and hope she will join us again!
What a freak accident! All by the helicopter! Helping someone else out! So Weird!
This is us by Jeff, the man who was hurt right when we got there. I may be a little insensitive because I take pics of Everything!
