I forgot to post pictures of our front door. We are just waiting for all the glass to get put in (should be soon). This turned out awesome, Brett did a great job finishing it

House Pictures
We have been finishing our house, and its looking great. We are hoping to move this weekend and are finishing little things this week.
We get carpet on Wed and are hoping for a final on Thursday. So if everything goes as planned with the closing with the bank, we will move this weekend! Wow, I can't believe it.

The Christensen's
I came across this picture of Brett's family at our wedding in Hawaii and wanted to say a big Thank You to his family for all they do for us. We have been spending a lot of time with them lately. They have helped with the house, let us come and ride, feed us dinner (it seems like all the time), give us great B-day gifts (they keep us outfitted- thanks Jen and Stacy), and let me take their 'Twilight' books to read (almost done with the second- Im now addicted), and Clay took us to a baseball game last week, not to mention PF Changs for our birthdays. We love you guys so much!

Labor Day
We spent Labor Day weekend working on the house of course, and then took off for a few days to see Brett and Jenny (our friends) in Hinckly. Brett had surgery on Sept 2 (my B-day) to finally repair his right thumb. We then went to the Lemington rodeo, which was fun because that is where Fred's family is from. Brett placed somewhere in the Team Roping, and I finished third in Barrels- not too bad for my old horse, Lindy
This is me and Brett riding the night before the rodeo. In the background you can see the storm coming in, the storm that made it cold, rainy, and miserable.

BC Finishing
Brett's business has been very busy, which is nice, but at the same time he feels that he is always behind (and always working).
When he first went on his own he was about 75% residential and wanting more commercial, and now he is about 80% commercial, which he is happy about.
He has recently been working on projects such as:
BD Medical
Karl Malone Toyota in Draper (the one with the 'museum' thing)
Paradise Bakery in American Fork
UCCU Credit Union
Draper Temple
A very large home by the Draper Temple
and most recently, the new Oquirrh Mtn Temple in South Jordan. Brett's sample was the best that was turned in, so he got the whole job!
Here is the color most wood will be

House Pictures
Our house is coming along. We are hoping to move next weekend, and we have a lot of work to do until then. We have been working on last minute stuff every night this week.
Oh, and to mention we found a triantula this week at the house. We wanted to sell the house after that, but decided to call the pest control. They are coming to spray tomorrow!
Here is a picture of part of our master closet
