Well as I mentioned before, we have been so busy doing all kinds of stuff. Brett has been working nonstop, and in June I picked up a few more days working, so now it seems thats all we do.
We went camping with some friends a few weeks ago, and as I mentioned my camera kindof broke (the screen is all screwed up) so I haven't been taking as many pictures as I usually do. I only managed to get a few pics of our camping trip.
Brett was finally able to start roping again following his "mishap" back in May (refer to older posts). I will get pics of his new horse and post them as well.
Bretts business has been booming. He is still working on the Draper Temple, and he also was able to pick up the new Oquirrh Temple in South Jordan. They are very beautiful stains and I will post pics of them when I get them
This "thing" as I call it below is for a new home in Draper he has been working on that is amazing. It is very old, and the pictures aren't that good, but it is a really awesome piece of wood for decorating. Brett says we will never be able to afford decorations as expensive as these :(
I think we will be doing something in our home that is similar to this two-tone piece (maybe our island or something)
Well before I start complaining about the work on our home I will remember better times, like the ones in Hawaii on our honeymoon at the Dole plantation on Oahu.
Ok, I can start to complain. We have been doing slate/tile in our home for over a month!! Brett didn't want slate (but I did and look what we have) and I will never forgive myself for not listening to my husband! We have never laid floor before, and now we hear that slate is the worst. We have laid over 1400 square feet!! We are basically done, and these pics are a little old, but here it is.
Brett picked out the tile for the master bath. We laid the whole thing in no time, it was so much easier than that other crap, is smoother, and possibly looks better. He objected to tearing out the slate for the tile.
Brian loves to hang out at odd places around the house, but the cabinets and pantry are his favorites
