PV Pics

My Puerto Vallarta post may be a few posts. I tried for 2 hrs to upload photos tonight, but I think my computer (and blogger) had an Overload. I took about 600 photos, so I obviously need to pick and choose. What an awesome trip.

So Here we start. I love taking pictures- and am always trying to get models to practice on. I am very excited for a Photography class I am taking in March, so I will post pics if anything is any good.

Lorrie's husband Bryan is into photography also. I conned him into taking a few of me and Brett (which Brett just LOVED lol)- which is what I finished and is now on our blog above, and I took a few of them. Here are a few that I have done so far.

MATC

Brett's Dad Clay is the President of the MATC (Mountainland Applied Technology College) and recently they opened their new, $19.8 Million 18.2 Acre Thanksgiving Point Campus. We were lucky to be invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Clay had been working on getting funding for this campus for several years... and finally got it and construction began. It is truly an amazing building. The Culinary Art area is so fantastic I want to take classes myself.
Here are a few pics from the ceremony. We are so proud to have Clay in our family and can't wait for him and the students to enjoy their new facility

Picture Overload

We had a wonderful Holiday Season. We are very blessed to have such good family and friends.
The pictures of our holidays are in no particular order. Sorry there are lots of pictures, oh well, It's MY blog.
We went to Vegas for the NFR and were able to spend time with both our parents while there.

We took Lorrie, Brian, and Shalice (Dusty was still in AZ) to Cucina Toscana for dinner before Christmas. If you haven't tried it you should. Absolutely WONDERFUL! For more details on our dinner you will have to stalk Shalice's blog- lots of info there. :)

Jessica was due with her first child, a boy, on Wed, like 4 days ago. As of last night, still no baby.
WHERE IS HE?????

Brett LOVES Divinity (can't you tell?). And he thinks I'm crazy because I have never heard of it or tried it until this year.

Finally Finished..... Well Almost

I had some time off work, so I thought I would tackle a project.... Boy was I out of my league. What I thought would take a day or so.... turned into many more, and with lots of headaches. BUT I finished, except for a little caulking and some "outlet plugs" to replace, but I will leave that to the Professionals - no need to electrocute myself.
My new Backsplash in the Kitchen

And who could leave out our little Brian- with his old chew toy that has holes and no longer squeaks. But its the only thing he wants to play with.

Christmas Pictures

For Christmas this year we decided to take some updated pictures of Brett and his sisters Jennifer and Stacie and give them to his parents. We did these back in November, but had to keep it a secret because it was a surprise.

This is the one that was made into a big canvas.

Here area few others that didn't make the cut.... Me and Brett had a few differences in which was the best.... but since it was his parents, he won.

Individuals that we framed for them

My handsome husband :)

We had a great Christmas and have lots of pictures to post. I will as soon as I find the time.
